HAMRIYAH STEEL

METALLOINVEST is planning to launch the metal-rolling plant Hamriyah Steel in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The design capacity of the new plant will reach 1 mln tons of reinforcing bar per year.

The creation of the metal-rolling manufacture in the United Arab Emirates will enable the Holding:

- To take up a share of about 25 % on the UAE metal products market.

- To establish the Holding’s presence in the rapidly developing markets of Northern Africa and the Near East, and to create conditions for the Holding’s expansion and diversification activity in these and adjoining regions;

- To optimize manufacturing capacities of finished metal production among Holding enterprises and to provide guaranteed sales of about 1 million tons of stock material per year.
