UralMetComUral Scrap Metal Company (UralMetCom) was founded in 2005. Its main area of the activities is collecting, purchasing, recycling and supplies of scrap ferrous metals for the Holding’s steel works and to other companies. UralMetCom supplies raw materials to the Holding’s Steel division asstes – Ural Steel and OEMK, as well as to ORMETO-YUMZ Mechanical Engineering Group and Moldova Metallurgical Plant. The company activity includes collecting and processing of scrap ferrous metals. The scrap metal procurement sites of UralMetCom are equipped with modern scrap metal recycling machines, as well as preparing the charging materials at the Holding’s steel making entreprises. The major equipment suppliers for UralMetCom are such world famous companies as Metso Lindemann GmbH (A Metso Minerals corporation) and Atlas-Terex GmbH (a TEREX corporation), along with foreign and domestic manufacturers of reliable, high-end technical equipment for processing and transporting scrap metal. Long-term cooperation with leading foreign manufacturers of scrap processing equipment enables the company to process up to 2,5 mln tons of scrap metal per year.
