19 May, 2009 | MIKHAILOVSKY GOK Mikhailovsky GOK creates temporary workplaces for students and unemployed of Kursk regionMikhalovsky GOK (a subsidiary of Metalloinvest holding) started to fulfill an anti-crisis program aimed at promotion of employment in Kursk region in difficult economic conditions. Within the program 35 white-collar workers and 144 blue collars set to relief and trainee jobs at MGOK since May, 1. The administration of Kursk region embraced a course of action to reduce tension at the labor market in 2009 and took into consideration MGOK’s suggestions. According to the joint program MGOK will create 212 temporary places for unemployed and 48 places for practical training of students and graduates during 2009. At the same time MGOK doesn’t plan any retrenchments within the enterprise; all its employees continue to work. Temporary employees to carry out maintenance equipment auxiliary works, to participate in railway tracks clearance, to assist in documentation control. Students will have an opportunity to earn and to obtain occupational adaptation in the area that can be their permanent workplace in future.
